At Advanced Audiology, we provide the following professional hearing services to meet your unique hearing needs:

  • Diagnostic hearing evaluations
  • Counseling on the impact of hearing loss
  • Hearing aids and maintenance
  • Custom fit earpieces
  • Community education on audiology

Diagnostic Hearing Evaluations

Our hearing services include comprehensive hearing assessments on patients of all ages. These assessments help us discover the underlying cause of your hearing issues and establish the type and degree of hearing loss. This is a necessary step to understand your unique hearing needs. Our goal is to provide you with a customized solution that works for you and your lifestyle.

Counseling Services

At Advanced Audiology, we do more than provide hearing tests.

Your audiologist will interpret these assessments and educate you on what exactly this means for you and your lifestyle. This allows you to have all the information you need to decide on next steps, such as purchasing hearing aids.

We counsel patients and families regarding test results, communication strategies, amplification options and dealing with hearing loss.

Hearing Aids & Maintenance

We will help you every step of the way with your hearing aids:

  • Select, fit and modify appropriate amplification devices
  • Sale of hearing aid batteries, cleaning tools and other accessories
  • Perform hearing aid troubleshooting, cleanings and function checks

We can direct patients to a variety of Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) available for purchase online, such as amplified telephones, amplified/light alerting alarm clocks, amplified/light alerting smoke alarms, amplified television accessories and more.

Custom Fit Earpieces

Not only do we provide hearing services like  tests and hearing aids, but we also provide hearing protection:

  • Custom fit swim ear plugs for protection from water
  • Custom fit musician plugs for protection from occupational and/or recreational noise hazards without losing fidelity
  • Custom fit ear plugs for protection against other occupational/recreational noise hazards like construction work, factory work, farming and gunfire

Community Education on Audiology

Dr. Wright is a practitioner of educational audiology in the school setting. This includes fitting and modification of personal hearing aids and ear molds, fitting and modification of FM systems and conference microphones, performing teacher in-services, and performing hearing screenings.
